Newbie wp question. The design and functionality

  • Hello I’m new to wordpress. I am more use to lower level programming but want to use a CMS for my project. WordPress seems really good. My question is; I want to create a simple website that has a banner a few buttons and a register button with an admin panel once you login. Like the frontpage of this website shopify.com. Is this possible and easy to do with wp? How shall i approach this?

  • WordPress can definitely do everything you are wanting to do. Depending on what type of project you are doing, you can use the .com site or get your own hosting and go with .org.
