Newest backup does not restore newest site

Hi,

Im using backupwordpress to install a local copy of our website onto a MAC running MAMP. Ive created a backup on the backend of the live site, and installed it on my mac. Ive uploaded the database to phpmyadmin and created the necessary user and password. Our website is showing but for some reason it is missing the last few edits I did to our home page (changed banner design to a valentines banner and changed issuu catalog to FlipHTML5 catalog). Ive deleted browser cache, and made sure that MAMP is running with cache set to OFF. But it is still showing me old content. Ive tried 2 backups that were made after the homepage was updated and both are not showing the latest changes. Please let me know if you have any suggestions to fix this. Thanks so much!
