    Yeah crashed my site too:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /nfs/c07/h01/mnt/99388/domains/laugh-masters.com.au/html/wp-content/plugins/wp-hide-post/admin/class-wp-hide-post-admin.php on line 73

The plugin has now been updated. I just ran the update through the dashboard and my site is working again.

I’m a newbie… When I go to my site I can’t get to admin area to re-install the old version. I get the fatal error from the plugin. Do I have to restore my entire site to get it back working?

we are looking in issues , any one having trouble can download from https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/wp-hide-post.1.2.2.zip and install it with ftp

you can upload this version with ftp, just remove the old wp-hide-post folder from plugins directory and upload this new extracted folder

    I am on PHP 5.4

No, there is an error that causes the system to fail.
The problem occurs when you upgrade to 1.2.2

If not resolved soon, it is serious, because hidden posts do not appear in any way, because you can not activate the plugin

    My PHP is 7.0

A solution is uninstall the plugin, and reinstall. To me it has worked for me, but there are users who do not

Plugin has been restored to previous version.
If your are getting some error you can manually remove the plugin with ftp by going to
wp-content/plugins folder and removing wp-hide-post folder.

After that you go to install plugin section and search for hide post plugin and install the stable version again
