Newest version at godaddy.

  • How long does it take before a new version of wordpress to be released. Before you can install it via Godaddys interface.

    That seems like it would be an awesome question for GoDaddy.

    You could also, of course, just do the upgrade yourself. See Upgrading_WordPress.

    Its a good question for anyone running control panel software. Most hosts (likely including go daddy) won’t do anything about it until the control panel vendor adds it to their list.

    I run my own server with cPanel and Fantastico, and it’s set to get package updates automatically as soon as they’re available, but WP 2.3 hasn’t appeared yet, which suggests that the cPanel people haven’t gotten around to it, and I doubt that the Plesk folks have either.

    That covers about 90% of all hosts, in that case. You’re better off just uploading your own.
