News Sitemap Not Generating for Custom Post Types

My site uses custom post types for “reviews” and a plugin to hide those in the URL.
So, https://cinemanerdz.com/movie-review/movie-review-fruitvale-station/
becomes
https://cinemanerdz.com/movie-review-fruitvale-station/However, the news sitemap being generated does not seem to want to include these posts, despite selecting them in Settings. Here is a link to my news sitemap: https://cinemanerdz.com/sitemap-news.xml/
Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks.
