News ticker not working

  • Hi. WP has updated to 5.5 and this has broken the news ticker in accesspress.

    See this image: https://justfreethemes.com/accesspress-mag/

    It should show: “LATEST…”
    It is now just a grey box.

    Not your fault of course as it’s probably the latest update, but I wondered if there is a fix coming? Or can I fix it in CSS?

    EDIT – I installed another plugin to create a news ticker. It doesn’t look so good as original but it’s a fix for now.

    Same here too, a fix would be great.
    Whats the plugin you used to replace it?

    Next release is out but this was not fixed. The newsticker is still broken. What happened?

    The release note just contains these fixes:
    ** Fixed Compatiblity issue with WordPress 5.6
    ** Added Category Show Hide Option in Single Post

    jQuery .live() event handler is deprecated. Please change to .on() insted. Line 121 jquery.ticker.js
