NewSite: wordpress = CMS

    I just rewrote the web site of my mountaineering association. I used wordpress as a CMS.

    index page contains 3 different section: “Ultimi Avvisi” (last announcements), “In evidenza” (in evidence) and Ultime Foto (last Pictures).

    First two section are controlled by checking some special categories, Last Photos is based on a custom PHP function.

    But I don’t want to bore you… let me know what you think about it!

    And the pictures are fabulous. Did you use a gallery plugin for the photos?

    About the photos, yes I uased a plugin called Galleryo.
    I had to hack it a little bit because I need some custom functions… so I wrote theme ??

    DianeV, yes Galleryo is developed by an italian guy.
    But you can find something in english here:
    https://www.studio404.it/wp-plugins/galleryo-readme-en.htm

    By now, Galleryo is no more developed, but I hope that the author can think about that decision.

    StyledSheet, thank you. Menu is not mine but was written by Stu Nicchols on CSSPLay. Menu style was mine.
