• Hi, when adding a Subscribe block, either in a page/post content or footer/sidebar template or pattern, then the Thickbox script and stylesheet are included. This apparenlty is used for the popup message after the form submission. After hitting the Continue button in the modal message window, the page reloads with the usual Success message.

Is there a way to skip this intermediary (in my view useless) modal popup step and get rid of the extra page load from added script and style sheet?

    The block settings only show:

    • Show subscriber count
    • Place button on new line

Please consider an option of type “Use popup confirmation message” ??

    Hi @ravanh,

Thanks for your feedback and suggestion. It sounds like a good idea to me. While I can’t make any promises at this moment, I’ll certainly bring this up for discussion with our team. It’s definitely worth exploring further.

    Hi @ravanh,

It’s me again. Wanted to let you know that our development team has been diligently working on improvements on this matter, and we’re transitioning from using Thickbox and jQuery to Micromodal for the confirmation popup. This shift aims to provide a more streamlined and efficient user experience. Additionally, regarding the loading visuals, we are considering showing simple grey boxes initially to avoid any content duplication.

While this change addresses the core of the popup mechanism, I want to be transparent and let you know that at this time, we’re not planning to implement the specific option you suggested, “Use popup confirmation message”. However, we believe the migration to Micromodal will offer a better overall experience for users like yourself.

Thank you for your valuable feedback, and please continue to share your thoughts and suggestions. We genuinely value user insights as they help shape the future of our products.

    Warm regards,
