Newsletter popup not working on custom page templates

We are building a site with a custom design. for this we created custom page templates for pages like home, blog-archive, product-archive, basically everything. we also modified default page template for page.php (all this was developed on a child theme from understrap). we used the mailpoet popup with the “show on all pages” selected… but the popup shows up only on pages that use the default page template… Is there any hooks or wordpress code that need to present/called on the other page templates for mailpoet to be able to insert the popup in the page?
