I’ve used the FREE icegram/email-subscribers newsletter plugin for years. Recently I’ve had an issue/conflict after installing another plugin (AssetCleanup). Some of its settings must have interfered. I’ve since uninstalled that plugin but still have an issue with my newsletter.

Signups via SAFARI & FIREFOX no longer work. After inputting name & email via the signup form, nothing happens. Interestingly, it is still possible so sign up to the newsletter via CHROME. So. I’m unclear what the issue might be..

Should I simply delete and reinstall email subscribers to RESET? If I do that is there a way to keep all my settings, by exporting something first?

    Hi @jamiebaker,

Thank you for reaching out to us!

After reviewing your inquiries, I believe you are using an outdated version of the plugin. I recommend updating it to the latest version, 5.7.51. Once you have done this, please check to see if the issue has been resolved. If the problem persists, we will investigate it further.

Please note that updating the plugin will not affect the settings or any data.

We look forward to your feedback!

Thank you for your speedy reply, @anupamkhatua . I am already using ?5.7.51?. Unfortunately, the issue with signups via Safari & Firefox persists.

    Hi @jamiebaker,

    Thank you for your input!

I would like to inform you that we have tested the URL you recently shared with us in both Firefox and Google Chrome’s private window.

Unfortunately, we did not receive any AJAX submission response; the result was empty. We suspect that there may be a conflict with another plugin or a cache plugin on your website.

Although we cannot confirm this, it seems that some files from the Asset CleanUp plugin remain on your site even after it has been uninstalled.

To conduct a more thorough troubleshooting process, we will need a temporary login from you. Please contact our support channel for further assistance, as this will help us better understand your concerns.

We look forward to your response!

Yeah, I looked for any orphaned options etc, found a few and deleted them, but it doesn’t seem to have helped. I find it strange that I can STILL signup via Chrome, but that you could NOT. I will contact your support channel. thank you.
