Newsletter widget

  • Hi folks! In the 2017 theme I could use the standard WordPress newsletter widget (the one that readers sign up with their mail adresses and get a note every time there is a new post, the one with the blue WordPress lining. But I can’t seem to find it in 2019.

    Is it possible to use it in 2019 or is there another way getting the same functionality (without plugins and apis and all the stuff)

    WordPress itself doesn’t have a newsletter widget, and neither have the default Twenty* themes.

    You must have been using a plugin for this, and perhaps that plugin is gone?
