    Good Day!

We created a newsletter using MailPoet’s builder.

When we view our newsletter using different browsers (e.g., Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Opera) and different email providers (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo Mail, RoundCube, Outlook) they look great when the browser zoom level is 100%.

When the browser zoom level is 90% or 110%, however, the newsletter “breaks.” That is, it’s not responsive.

    Details:

Browser Zoom Level 100% (Intended Layout, Looks Great): https://prnt.sc/11s30q4
Browser Zoom Level 90% (Not Good): https://prnt.sc/11s340v
Browser Zoom Level 110% (Not Good): https://prnt.sc/11s373z

    What’s going on?

    Fix appreciated. Thank you.

    Cheers!

    Hi!

When the browser zoom level is 90% or 110%, however, the newsletter “breaks.” That is, it’s not responsive.

Thanks for reporting this! However, this is not entirely correct – the newsletter is responsive, otherwise, it wouldn’t auto-adapt to smaller screens. The mere fact that the layout is switching when the screen is smaller or the zoom is higher is already stating that it’s responsive, the incorrect display here would be that the layout will stay the same (so it would create “arrows” on the browser to move horizontally). Also, normally the zoom in browsers is not something taking widely in consideration while designing a template as every browser does their zoom in a different way – what it’s used is a standardized measure of minimum and maximum width and height of pixels.

So, in this case, we consider this is the correct behavior and no “fix” would be applied.

Again, thanks so much for taking your time and letting us know!

    Have a nice day!
