    Hi,
I have written and saved a Newsletter and have sent it to a test email address. It worked for the test email, but now when I try to send it out to my subscribers it will not send. Instead there is a message “There are issues with the delivery engine. Please check them here”. But when I check, another message tells me “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page”. Can you help please?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Well, I’m not sure what happened, but suddenly (after more than 12 hours of waiting for the newsletter to send, it has finally sent off and the warning message “there are issues with the delivery engine” has disappeared. So if you mastered the fix, thank you very much!

Same here… I have paused and resumed several times it is progressing now, but it is extremely slow, 1 one 1 with long pauses in between. I read in the release notes that the delivery engine has been re-engineered in version 7.3.0, which is probably the cause.

If not finished by tomorrow I will downgrade the plugin version. Hopefully this will be resolved soon.

Just to note that when mine finally sent, they all went at once with no pausing at all in between. Hope the problem is all fixed now.

But besides mentioning the introduction of a refactored delivery engine in the latest update, it also mentions that the Autoresponder Addon needs to be updated. As far as I am aware, this addon is a premium addon, and I don’t have it. Does this mean that Newsletter is actually forcing the purchase of this Addon in order for the newsletters to be sent out correctly?? I hope someone from this plugin answers this.

    Hello @julie2009 and @remcovanrossum ,

that wrong link leading to a “You are not allowed” page has been fixed with last Newsletter update. Anyway, that message appears for a reason, and from the diagnostic page you should be able to track down the cause, referring to our documentation.

    Hello @michael-travan

Thank you very much for your response. I will have a look at all that and see if I can determine the cause.

    Julie
