Newsletters Pending

    Since upgrading from 5.3.3 beta to the latest version 5.3 the newsletters continue to say pending when trying to send them.

    I do notice that when the batch add-on is disabled and you go back to the pending newsletters it says sent and the numbers of subscribers it sent it to, but it hasn’t sent to anyone. I checked queue or if the process is running. When the batch add-on is re-activated it goes back to pending.

    Also I have even turned off cron and tried wp-cron and attempted to run the cron manually and it still says pending as long as batch add-on is activated. When it is not activated I have the same results — it says it has sent, but no emails are sent out (vice versa).

    Nothing has changed about the set-up of the plugin other than I upgraded to the latest version.

    Think I may see what is happening — believe Event Manager may be conflicting with the latest MailPress. It didn’t do this on the previous version before I upgraded MailPress. Seeing this in the logs:
