Latest update introduced an optimization regarding the query run on author pages. For it to work properly, a background task must be run. And it should be run after plugin update. But it will only if your WP Cron is enabled.

By default WP Cron is enabled. But you, or any other plugin, might have disabled it. Could you please check whether you have the DISABLE_WP_CRON constant defined and set to true in your wp-config.php file? And if you do, remove or comment that line.

If you don’t have that constant, maybe a security or firewall plugin is configured to disable it. You’d need to check that.

Anyway, after enabling WP Cron back, just:

1) Go to the Plugins screen and disable Molongui Authorship
2) Once it is disabled, reactivate it again.

That will run the above mentioned background process. You will see a notice in your dashboard letting you know the status of the process. Once it says everything is up to date, check your author pages. Are they now displaying only the posts by that author?
