Newspaper Theme Validation Issues

  • Hello,

    We have been trying for a long time to get ALL of realfoodrn.com’s blog posts validated.

    Here are the two errors giving us trouble:
    1. The extension ‘amp-animation’ was found on this page, but is unused. Please remove this extension.

    2.The author stylesheet specified in tag ‘style amp-custom’ and the combined inline styles is too large – document contains 51480 bytes whereas the limit is 50000 bytes.

    Any idea how we can resolve these? We are using the newspaper theme and I suspect the issue has something to do with this theme.

    We’ve pushed an update of “Newspaper AMP Theme” and in that, we’ve resolved these issues. Please update the plugin.

    Thank you. Last night, I was finally able to push the latest update for the newspaper theme.

    However, I was able to resolve the “Style amp-custom” issue by editing the style.php directly to trim down unused/unneeded CSS.

    Hi @tunatraffic,

    Did ‘amp-animation’ error has been fixed on your end in the updated version? Are you still getting any errors from “Newspaper AMP theme” plugin?.
