NexGen Gallery lightbox effect stopped working

  • I was using NexGen Gallery for a while. Had a great lightbox effect when I clicked on a thumbnail. Now all of a sudden it stopped working. When I click on a thumbnail, it takes me to another white space with the image in left corner.

    I have updated to the most recent wordpress and to Php 5.
    Anyone can help me out with this?

    my lightbox stopped working as well…using latest version of wp…my image opens into a new window..going nuts! any fix

    I’ve been having the same issue (for a month!). Ran all updates, but to no avail. I have been using NextGen for two years without any issues, but I used a flickr plugin for my last post. This happened to me once before, but the updates did the trick last time around. Any thoughts?

    I don’t even use the lightbox that’s installed with NGG, I found it easier to just install Lightbox Plus, that works great and doesn’t require any coding, it just automatically works.

    This also just happened to me, had the site running locally (MAMP) and online, both stopped, all that would have changed was some CSS. I even tried installing lightbox the good old manual way, like i’ve done many times before – no go. I’ve switched NextGen back to Thickbox and it works fine. Driving me crazy!
