"Next" and "Back" buttons not working

Thank you so much for all the work you do on this widget!

We’ve run into an issue on some old themes we have where the “Next” and “Back” buttons don’t work on the widget or on the full calendar page. We know it’s a conflict with an old version of jQuery, but we cannot upgrade without impacting other parts of the sites.

Do you have any ideas for a workaround to get those buttons working again? We are in the process of moving the sites over to an updated theme where the widget works perfectly, but need a stop-gap measure until we get them all migrated.
