[Plug-in: Next-gen Gallery] Can't edit thumbnails: all I see is a black image

I would like to regenerate my thumbnails to a different size and compression. I’ve set those parameters under options, however, now when I go to recreate the thumbnails, I click on “edit thumb” and instead of showing me the image it shows me a black screen.
