Next Gen Gallery Can’t Sort Images

  • Recently upgraded to 2.91 and now I no longer have the ability to sort my images in the order that I want. The button or the ability to do so has completely vanished. I tried disabling all my plugins in case there was some javascript conflict but nothing is working. I also have another site using the older version of next gen gallery plugin, and the sort option is still available. So, in short, Does anyone know how to sort images in the new version? All my images are being displayed alphabetically and I want to arrange them in a different order.

    I just ran into this same oddity, there is a setting you can change to fix this. Go to NextGen Options -> Gallery, look at the Sort Options. Put the selection on “Custom order” for sort thumbnails.

    I just added the nextgen gallery 1.6.2 and it will not let me sort my pictures. I have gone to the options section of the gallery and it is set on custom order. It still does not let me sort the pictures in the order I want. Am I missing something?

    I have the same issue.
