• I wish to use the [slideshow] shortcode with the nextgen gallerys to be used for pictures attached to my post. The plugin “slideshow” by devpress supports the [slideshow] shortcode, but it isn’t friendly to resizing pictures that are large and tall.

This is useful for me, who transferred lots of galleries from a .com site to .org.

Can someone please help with this issue? I Am trying to research this through the forums but it is taking me forever. Any slideshow plugins anyone can think of that dont cut off bottom halves of tall images but also are able to use the images attached to post for a slideshow with a generic [slideshow] plugin?

I’m trying to solve the same problem… driving me nuts. Have you gotten anywhere?

Nope. just gonna have to do it the nextgen way with it’s own shortcode. I managed to deal with that it wouldn’t work the way I wanted. I like nextgen with it’s plugin addon nextgenscrollgallery or something like that…it looks pretty good and simple to put together, just have to use the scrollgalleries shortcode instead of nextgen once both are installed.

I tried really hard to find anything that met those two criteria but gave up after a while and trying a couple plugins here and there.
