Next Gen Gallery translation

    WP last version
    NGG last version

    I have put my Next Gen Gallery translation files in french
    (nggallery-fr_FR.mo and nggallery-fr_FR.po) in the plugin directory “nextgen-gallery” sub directory “lang”.
    So here : mysite\wp-content\plugins\nextgen-gallery\lang

    The trouble is that my page (frontoffice) with a gallery still show the english text
    [Show as a slideshow] instead of the french translation [diaporama]

    Do I forgot something ? thank for help

    I precise In wp-config.php the language is specified:
    define(‘WPLANG’, ‘fr_FR’)
