next gen gallery widget – how to show navigation/description

I have the option checked to show navigation in the Next Gen Gallery options but it doesn’t appear in the next gen widget slideshow. Is there somewhere that can be added so it appears in the widgets? Been looking for awhile and haven’t found the answer.
