  • So I am not with Imagely, but I can tell you the format for my Tag codes, if it helps:

    domain.com/pageorpost/nggallery/tags/tag

    This is the same as what they told you basically for format.

    However, I find it easiest to let NGG generate the tag links, rather than doing it myself. I a post called “test” (could have been a page just as easily) and inserted the gallery as a tag cloud (it has to be a gallery, it won’t take albums). Then I clicked on one of the pre-generated tags to see what opened:

    polywogg.ca/test/nggallery/tags/Ottawa

    This gave me the properly formatted link, with five components to the link:

    a. Site: polywogg.ca
    b. Post or page: test … just a temporary one, but you’ll need a permanent structure if you want to reuse all of them, otherwise the sublinks won’t work;
    c. Control: nggallery to put you in the NGG control hierarchy for dynamically generated pages;
    d. Category: tags to tell it that you’re sorting by tags
    e. Tag: Ottawa in my case.

    I wondered if it was your use of hyphens, but I have one:

    https://polywogg.ca/test/nggallery/tags/panda-wedding

    and it works just fine.

    Just to confirm, are you sure your tag says “15-30” for each one i.e., not a range of tag 15 to tag 30 but an actual tag called “15-30”)…I also assume you’ve checked that you haven’t accidentally assigned all the tags to every photo?

    Good luck!

    Paul

    Hello @ghauri1984,

    Apologies, Could you please elaborate a bit more on your questions?
    If you have more than one issue, it will be ideal if you could create separate threads.

    You can show the basic Tagcloud of a particular gallery, for example, this shortcode will show a TagCloud of the gallery with the ID 1.

    [ngg src=”galleries” ids=”1″ display=”basic_tagcloud”]

    More information on shortcodes here: https://www.imagely.com/docs/nextgen-gallery-shortcodes/

    Please, keep us posted, we are happy to help.
