I just took a look at your site. It took a few seconds but it did change to the next month for me. I am using Google Chrome.

What browser are you experiencing this issue with?

I too am having problems with the Next link not working, although I did not change the feeds to display events until the end of time until after the upgrade to 2.0. Am I missing shortcode to get this to function properly? Otherwise it works great.

Having the same problem. The next button/link does not work on my calendar page where I’m using display=”grid”

The next and previous buttons/links work when I use the calendar in the sidebar widgets though. See: https://www.eugenefilmsociety.com/

    HELP please.

I’m assuming it’s a js or jquery conflict but I can’t figure it out.

Nick, thank you for this excellent plugin. I have been very happy with it, it solved countless problems we were having with our previous methods of posting events.

However, I’m having the same problem as the others above ever since I upgraded to 2.0: https://peacectr.org/wp/peace-justice-center-events/events-calendar/

I’ve tried adjusting the “Retrieve Events Until” to a specific date but that didn’t fix the problem (I seem to recall this was an issue in the earlier version).

I’ve tried Chrome and Firefox, doesn’t work in either browser.

shawnpprs, I see yours is working now. What did you do to fix it?

    Thnx,
    Martin

@martin.wallace – that’s really weird. It is working now, and I haven’t touched the site since I posted the issue. I can’t imagine it was a caching issue. I have no idea.

It could be a caching issue. Try manually clearing the cache for your feeds (at the very bottom there is a button) and let me know if that fixes it.

@nick Young – Manually clearing the cache was one of the first things I did, but it made no affect. I have several calendar sources coming in to the plugin, but I have made sure that they all have the same settings. The time zone information set in WordPress looks fine, as well. I have the “from/until” set to start of the current month and until the end of time, respectively. I’ve done just about all the suggestions I’ve seen in other posts on the issue without success, other than trying to assess java issues – I’m not a programmer and don’t deal with other people’s work.

Hi Nick, I’m also having this problem – Next button doesn’t work in grid view. I’ve cleared the caches, and am using Chrome. I’m using the shortcode in the content section of my homepage, under construction:
    dev.fullcircleleadville.org.

    Any other suggestions?

    Thanks!
    Rohan

Cleared cache, didn’t solve the problem.

I just downloaded the plugin yesterday for the first time and I have the same problem.

I also can’t expand a day to see the information.

    Ive got a javascript error,

    ReferenceError: gce_ajaxify is not defined

    <p><code><script type="text/javascript">jQuery(document).ready(function($){gce_ajaxify("gce-page-grid-35", "35", "0", "", "page");});</script><div class="gce-page-grid" id="gce-page-grid-35"><table class="gce-calendar">...

here you can see an example
    https://avetisthemes.com/hockey/?page_id=14

I was having the same problem, even though I’d taken all the indicated actions to try to correct it. On checking the page where my calendar was embedded, I noticed that the old short code was pointing to the calendar feed ID used before upgrading to GCE 2. I changed the feed ID to match the new feed ID created when I upgraded GCE, and that solved the probem. I can now scroll the monthly calendar grid from month to month.

I had already changed the feed ID and other shortcodes to the current nomenclature and the Next function still doesn’t work (unless I’m missing a shortcode to make it work, which doesn’t appear to be documented). Wish it was as easy as changing the feed ID in my case.

Having trouble as well. The ‘Next’ link on the grid PAGE doesn’t work but the ‘>>’ on the sidebar widget works just fine. Might be worth noting that the problem existed with the previous version of Google Calendar Events and remains problematic after updating.

All common Win browsers/ WP 4.0

I gave up and went back to V. 0.7.3.1. The next button works fine there, but I can only use the calendar in a widget – the shortcode doesn’t seem to work in a page – but it looks better in a widget than the new version does anyway.

There may be some JS issues here. We will be looking into it. For now make sure you don’t have any JS errors on the page that could be stopping the script from working. Will update everyone when I have more news about this. Thank you for your patience.
