Next & Previous icons not working properly

Hi,

My ‘Next’ and ‘Previous’ icons on the product page do not stay in the same category, when clicked, which is confusing (a birthday will go to a Christening etc.

I know Next and Previous are supposed to stay in the same category, but i am wondering if it is because i have 5 levels and it it can’t handle the depth-

Level 1 – On the top main nav bar i have ‘Napkins’

Level 2 – then i have the occasion (eg Birthdays)

Level 3 – then i have 3 types of Napkins in this sub category, Packets, Loose & Personalised,

Level 4 – then i have to choose which Birthday (say 90th)

Level 5 – Which then goes to the product page!

Would this cause the problem?

My theme developer seems to think that this would be a Woocommerce problem.
