    Hey all,

I had emailed Nextend support directly and was told they are no longer supporting their free plugins. So none of the social plugins seems to be supported any longer. I figured someone should post that here since they are not responded to anyone’s posts. There are other similar plugins that seem to be up to date. If I find one that works well, I will post it here.

  • Thank you for reporting this! I suspected something was up after no updates for 6 months. We just implemented this plugin into our website but after figuring out the conflict it has with the iThemes Security plugin, and now seeing they don’t support it, we will be looking at alternatives. Thanks again for taking the time to inform the community. Really appreciate it!

Any alternative you guys found which works with Flatsome theme well?

@peeyooshk I am trying to make something work with Flatsome too cause nextedn doesn’t seem to work anymore…So far my best bet is “Super Socializer” (https://fr.www.ads-software.com/plugins/super-socializer/)

The plugin works but it’s not well integreted in flatsome by default. I hope Flatsome theme will include something in the next updates.

If you let us know what problem you are facing, we would be able to look into that.

    Hi @chrtravels @waterworks2 @peeyooshk @megaquebec

We have merged our social connect plugins into one plugin called “Nextend Social Login and Register” (legacy of Nextend Facebook Login). You can update to this new version by simply updating Nextend Facebook Login.
You can import the legacy settings like this: https://nextendweb.com/nextend-social-login-docs/legacy-import-facebook/

We have pushed out Nextend Social Login 3.0. It has several improvements, better UX and it’s in active development again.

    Hello @nextend_ramona :

Can you confirm if we can use “Nextend Social Login and Register” on self hosted wordpress website for free or do we need to buy any license?

    Hi @peeyooshk

Yes, you can use the new plugin for free. You can access “Nextend Social Login and Register” by updating the current Nextend Facebook Connect plugin to version 3.0.1.

    Hi @nextend_ramona

I am running a site with “Flatsome Theme” and already updated “Nextend Social Login and Register” plugin to 3.0.1 but still the register with social media buttons are not showing up on register / log in page (woo-commerce).

    website : https://nanosarte.com

But they are showing up if I click the login/register button in a 404 page

login with social buttons are visible in wordpress dashboard login page

    Hi @sasikumar3g!

Flatsome Theme has integrated our plugin themselves into the WooCommerce login and registration pages too, so if you wouldn’t have the latest version of your theme, you should update it. And if it still wouldn’t work, you should contact them about it. As I see Ramona has already wrote to them about this, so it might be already fixed.

From our end only the Pro version has an option to insert our buttons into WooCommerce login and registration pages:
    https://nextendweb.com/nextend-social-login-docs/global-settings-woocommerce/

Right now the nextend social login for flatsome theme wordpress only seems to support google and facebook, twitter login is not showing up when you clock the login/register button on the flatsome themed site.

I am updated to the latest flatsome theme.

    Hi @ochoppee

Flatsome uses its own custom codes to display the login buttons at its own custom login popup, so it not up to our plugin which buttons are displayed and where. Since Flatsome is a paid theme I suggest contacting them for help on this matter.
