Until recently I had NextGen 2.0 Search engine plugin working with nextgen galleries. Recent updates have stopped that working.
I’ve now installed nextcellent plugin and it seems to be working well but it doesn’t seem to work with this plugin.
Is there any hope for getting a nextcellent search engine working to show a gallery of images relating to search term.
It was this old post that allowed me to get the nextgen search working.
NextGEN Gallery-NGG 2.0 and Image Search??
    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/ngg-20-and-image-search
If I try to activate my old version it triggers fatal errors.
eg.nggCreateGallery() (previously declared in /home/d25swla/public_html/wp-gp/wp-content/plugins/nextcellent-javascript-3/nggfunctions.php:244) in /home/d25swla/public_html/wp-gp/wp-content/plugins/nggSearch-greg/nggSearch-greg.php on line 116
Thanks in advance for any advice/help.
    all best from Greg
ps. my previous posting of this query got a bit sidetracked, maybe me not explaining the exact issue well enough, so I’m reposting, hopefully more clearly.

I had another go at this and renamed the function that triggered the error in the nggSearch file. So in the line 116 referred to in the error message above it now reads.
    ‘function nggCreateGallerySEARCH($picturelist, $galleryID = false, $template = ”, $images = false) {‘
and that is building a gallery page with pretty comprehensive results.
So I can mark this topic as resolved.
It now makes me realise though that one function that I’m missing from Nextgen in Nextcellent is the ability to build a gallery based on tags…..

That should be possible using the tags shortcode:

    [ nggtags gallery=fields,blue ]

Thanks for that Niko. I forgot at first about taking the spaces out, between parentheses and content. Now working fine. That is really helpful. best wishes from Greg
