NextGen 2.0.17 breaking all of my sites – internal Server Errors

  • The update to NextGen 2.0.17 is causing Internal Server Errors or incorrect page displays. A refresh will sometimes bring the page back. As soon as I deactivate the plugin the problems go away.

    There is likely a plugin conflict. I’m checking this on one of my test sites but I have not been able to locate any combination that is consistent.

    Installing it as the “sole” plugin doesn’t cause the errors however as I can’t find a consistent combination that is causing the fault I’m simply not going to use it. I’ll check back in a few version updates and try again – until then this plugin is disabled on all of my and my client sites.

  • Whenever I activate the popular cachify-plugin (by Sergej Müller) my NGG-slideshow (2.xx up to 2.0.17!) only shows the first image; the next-picture-button won’t work at all. When I deactivate cachify, things seem to be ok… and the next/previous-buttons are working…
    There has been absolutely no progress during all the new versions…

    How long should I wait?

    I had the same problem of 2.0.17 crashing my sites. I’ve gone back to Version 1.9.12 and all working fine.
