NextGen 2.0.70 update gives blank Admin pages

  • Updated to the latest version of NextGen today (2.0.70) and now I’ve lost most of the admin panel. I can login, but if I click on any of the links on the left-hand side the screen goes blank.

    I’ve reverted back to nextgen-gallery.2.0.66.37, but I’ve still lost the admin panel.

    I’ve tried renaming the plugin to see if the Admin pages come back, but they don’t. Not sure what else to do. Is it worth going back any further to yet an even older version of NextGen?

    To a viewer not logged in, just looking at the site, all looks fine.

    Did the same as Tig1960, except mine works when reverting back to 2.0.66.37

    Tig1960 — I completely deleted the folder from the plugins using FTP. And that got my admin back up. Then I just uploaded the older version via the plugin page.

    Thanks HoodedVillian. I’ve had to revert back to NextGen 2.0.66.33 to get the site to work properly.

    In future I’m going to wait a bit until I update NextGen – wait until any bugs in any new version have been sorted out. This is the second time this has happened with a site (not the same site) and you can waste hours sorting it out.
