NextGen and Divi problem

I’ve just updated my Divi theme and whenever the NextGen Gallery plugin is activated, I get an error message as follows when I try to edit my pages: Exception thrown No utilities registered for ‘I_Display_Type_Controller’

I’ve also got NexGEN Plus activated which isn’t causing any problems, it’s just the basic NexGEN that seems to be doing it. As soon as I deactivate the problem resolves. I deleted the plugin and redownloaded it but am getting the same issue
