NextGEN broke Travelify theme’s Featured Slider

    I’m using the Travelify theme from Colorlib, which includes a Featured Post/Page Slider. It was working fine until I activated NextGEN, and then the slider froze on the first image. When I deactivated NextGEN the slider started working again.

    Has anyone else used NextGEN with Travelify? Can anyone suggest a way to make them work together? Thanks.

    Hi @oldrock,

    We are sorry to hear of the encountered issue. I personally don’t remember to have received such reports from Colorlib users but this doesn’t exclude a conflict.

    What I would try is deactivating all the other plugins excepting NextGen Gallery to see if the issue persists.

    Thanks for the response Mihai. When I started deactivating other plugins I got some conflicting and confusing results:
    – When I deactivated only NextGEN the slider worked.
    – With all others deactivated and only NextGEN active the slider worked.
    – With only ARI Fancy Lightbox activated (NextGEN deactivated) it worked.
    (I’m using ARI Fancy Lightbox with NextGEN).
    – At one point with both NextGEN and ARI Fancy Lightbox activated (and nothing else) the slider didn’t work.
    – Eventually when I reactivated everything except one other plug-in it started working again.

    I can live without that other plug-in, so I’m marking this as solved. Thanks for your help.
