Please turn on debugging and post the debug information from the EWWW settings page via pastebin.com

Ok, so can you describe what the Bulk Optimize page does? Does it seem to load properly, and then not function? Does it refresh the page when you click Start Optimizing?

If the page loads, but doesn’t function, press Ctrl+Shift+I in either Chrome or Firefox, and click on the Console tab and reload the page. See if there are any errors there on the console. ANY javascript errors will break the entire page.

Yes, it loads properly, it refresh the page but nothing is optimized.
The console indicates an error : “Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) /

A screenshot of the error might help me out there.

    Hi,
Here is a screenshot of the console; I specify that no error is displayed on the screen after the bulk optimization attempt. Everything seems to happen normally, but no image is optimized.

Hmm, and that seems to be something that isn’t js related, so I don’t think it would break the Bulk Optimize page, but not 100% sure. Do you have firefox installed that you could test it in too? Sometimes the consoles differ a bit and lend some extra insights that the other misses.

Firefox’s console is empty, no message.
But I wish you still a happy new year ?? !

Can you check the page source and verify that wp-content/plugins/ewww-image-optimizer-cloud/eio.js is being loaded on that page?

    Thread Starter pitou

    (@pitou)

OK, but how do I check this?

    (@nosilver4u)

Right-click anywhere on the page and “view page source” then do a search for “eio.js”. The shortcut for search is Ctrl+F

No trace of the file eio.js on this page …

    (@nosilver4u)

Ok, that’s definitely not normal. Can you send me the url for the NextGEN Bulk Optimize page via this form: https://ewww.io/contact-us/ (or just post it here if you don’t care who sees it)

    (@pitou)

    OK it’s done.

Alright, so you’re trying to Bulk Optimize specific galleries on the Manage Galleries page, right?
If you go to the Bulk Optimize page under NextGEN’s Gallery menu, does the eio.js script show up there at all?
