NextGen Clashing with Divi

    – WordPress up to date? YES ( 4.3.1)
    – NextGEN up to date? YES (2.1.15 )
    – What version of NextGEN Gallery did you upgrade from? (i.e. I had 1.9.13, then upgraded to 2.0.61) Have had problems for a few version

    (please confirm the following, with your server host tech) :
    – MySQL up to date (at least 5.0)? 5.5.46
    – PHP up to date (at least 5.2.4)? NO —– 5.3.29
    – The mod_rewrite Apache module activated? Yes
    – PHP Safe Mode OFF? Yes

    Additional information that will help us find a solution:
    – Who are you hosted with? Jumpline
    – What theme are you running? Just moved from Parabola to Divi
    – Which plugins do you have installed and activated? Installed lots – activated Just NextGEN Gallery

    HERE ARE THE REST – All Deactivated

    – Does this error still occur if you switch your theme to a WordPress Twenty series theme and deactivate all plugins except NextGEN Gallery? (please be sure to clear your browser cache and reload your site after deactivating) Sometimes

    THE PROBLEM
    I recognise that We do not have the latest PHP – so this may be the issue however these are the problems we are experiencing.

    For the last 6 months whenever NextGen is enabled the WordPress News Section blanks out when in Dashboard
    I installed Divi Theme ast night and disabled every plugin then enabled NextGen. As soon as I did this I could not access any of the Divi Customisers or Options.
    Deactivating – all is right again.
    I have 2215, Images, 78 Galleries and 1 Album

    The Site Itself seems to work, it is the WordPress Dashboard and Divi in particular where the error is occurring….

    My brain was on the wrong planet. PHP is above the minimum. What I meant to say was , could upgrading to a more up to date version help.

    It seems to me that I have bigger issues.

    To the best of our knowledge we do not currently have any issues with the latest version of Divi.
