    Hi
I am using NextGen version 2.2.54 on a website with a twentythirteen child theme.
I have the following error on my error log, which I have seen before, but can’t find any information on how to fix this.
I believe this might be the reason for the site falling over occasionally.
    Can anyone help?

WordPress database error Lost connection to MySQL server during query for query SHOW FULL COLUMNS FROMwp_optionsmade by A_MVC_Router->cache_lookups, C_Photocrati_Transient_Manager::update, C_Photocrati_Transient_Manager->set, set_transient, update_option

@lainyrache – This is not something I have seen before although you might take the clue of it hitting the transients manager to clear the site’s transients.

This plugin may be of assistance: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/transients-manager/

    Thanks!

    Hi,
Thanks for your reply to this and the advice!
(Sorry for the delay, I’ve been away for a week or so.)

    I have installed this plugin.
I was slightly worried about it as I don’t really understand which transients I should delete or keep.
I have tried deleting the transient that referenced photocrati, and this does seem to have sped things up.
So I will keep on keeping an eye on the error log, and the speed of the website.
