NextGen gallery 2.0.11 images and thumbs path problem

I checked everything… everything! It seems problem isn’t caused by plugin but sth else… maybe WordPress?

Something (some functionality) removes slashes from the URL.

Instead of having
https://www.regle.com.pl/wp-content/gallery/galeria_polski/thumbs/thumbs_osrodek_regle_front.jpg

I get
https://www.regle.com.pl/wp-contentgallerygaleria_polskithumbsthumbs_osrodek_regle_front.jpg

This is definitely a big nextgen-problem on some hosting-environments. But they are just too stupid or too lazy to solve the problem. In another thread, you can read it: It’s the wrong use of php-const DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR in an URL!

You can install anywhere (header.php, footer.php) for testing purposes

If a “\” backslash is output, it could be this pending issues. you’re on a win server?

Yea yea I did that and to my surprise it viewed correct sign “/”. I guess there is another problem, or maybe I made some mistake… can’t find it though…

Switch to Linux and most probably you’ll solve your problems

Unfortunatly I don’t have required privileges.
If there won’t be any fix soon, I guess I would have to try other plugin…

You should ask your host or whoever owns your server
Switching should be fast

I’ve found out that it’s actually Unix server with PHP version 5.2.17.
Any sugestions what should I do now?

@lelas – I just visited you site to check on this and you images from that gallery page appear fine as well as the URL of the images that I have checked. Are you still experiencing this issue yourself?

i also have the problem. i have installed the 2.0.12 version but the problem is still here.

Yes, I still have my problem and no, I didn’t fix it. I had to create gallery so I used standard media page offered by WordPress. I didn’t used a plugin to page You’ve seen.

To be precise, I don’t see thumbnails in Manage Gallery/Images panel ether. What is kind a funny, I made this page on my localhost and on other, free server and it worked just fine. But here URL is not valid.
