NextGEN Gallery 2.0.20 (beta) Released with Multisite Support and More

    Everyone!

    We have released a new beta on our NextGEN Gallery website here: https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/nextgen-gallery-latest-beta/

    We are seeing some very promising results from our testing and want to share it with you. Here is the “changelog”:

    • New: Multisite support
    • Fixed: Can’t upload images on multisite
    • Fixed: “Browser requires flash, silverlight, etc” error on multisite
    • Fixed: Can’t upload images on multisite
    • Fixed: Gallery display errors on multisite
    • Fixed: Reset network-wide ngg_options on multisite
    • Fixed: %BLOG_ID% in gallery path on multisite
    • Fixed: Related Images functionality
    • Fixed: “Back Up Images” option can’t be deselected
    • Fixed: Broken image and gallery links on Overview page
    • Fixed: Click-to-advance for basic slideshows
    • Fixed: Ajax pagination breaks View as Slideshow links
    • Fixed: Ajax pagination breaks Pro Lightbox
    • Fixed: Style sheet url issue for windows
    • Fixed: Excessive warnings generated about wp_footer()
    • Fixed: Compatibility with NextGen Custom Fields
    • Fixed: Compatibility with Adsense Explosion plugin
    • Changed: No longer dependent on simplehtmldom library
    • Changed: Default image quality when resizing set to 100%

    We are seeing this beta improve and/or correct issues with multisite, back up option not working, wp-footer warnings, related images, and broken links. If you are comfortable with using a beta release then by all means please follow the link above and follow the instructions on that page to install this latest beta into your WordPress installation.

  • Obviously this change in NGG 2.0.20 does not affect NGG Pro, where Pro Lightbox will not close in Opera.
    Should be fixed, Opera is still about 3% of all visits on the sites I maintain.
    PS. I raised a bug report for NGG Pro about this ??

    This beta Fixed %BLOG_ID% in gallery path on multisite issue.

    But i’ve got this new one…

    RuntimeException thrown

    /home3/lyceem/public_html/blogs/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/nextgen_addgallery_page/upload_images.php is not a valid MVC template

    when i try to add gallery. (not for all the blog’s that we are running on the multisite install.)

    Did You fixed database “junk” insertion issue and extensive memory usage?
