    NextGEN Gallery ver. <small>3.54</small> causes this error when I open a gallery:

    PHP Fatal error: Uncaught RuntimeException: D:\inetpub\webs\sentieroverdeorg\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\nextgen-gallery/templates\D:\inetpub\webs\sentieroverdeorg\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\nextgen-gallery\templates\Thumbnails\default-view.php.php is not a valid MVC template in D:\inetpub\webs\sentieroverdeorg\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\nextgen-gallery\src\Display\View.php:284

    May I make a rollback of NextGEN Gallery, or there is a different solution?

    Hi @fabiom24,

    Could you please provide us with the NGG shortcode structure from that gallery page?

    Let’s try deleting NextGen Gallery plugin then installing it new to see if that’ll change anything.

    • all gallery pages give the same error
    • if I delete the NextGen Gallery plugin, I’m afraid of losing all the galleries and images
    • are you sure that deleting and reinstalling NextGen Gallery is necessary?

    Hi @fabiom24,

    Deleting NextGen Gallery plugin and installing it new is absolutely safe and wouldn’t affect your existing galleries.

    I deleted and then reinstalled the plugin, no problem with the data, but the error was not eliminated ??

    Hi @fabiom24.

    We are sorry to hear of the problem. Could you please let me know if you host your site on an IIS (windows) server?

    I think there are currently path problems with IIS that persist in the last build, so you may want to roll back to NGG 3.41 until 3.56 is released.

    I have the same error running NGG 5.0 up to NGG 5.55 on local with Wampserver64 | PHP 8.0.56 on Windows 10.

    NGG 3.41 is OK

    Hope this information could help you resolve that problem.

    Thanks NGG 3.41 is OK

    Same problem, also on xampp on windows. Every version above 3.50 crashes.

    This path and filename in the error show it’s completely mangled:

    Plugin updated to the 3.57 version, now works ok, thanks
