nextgen gallery

    first of all: I find NextGEN Gallery a really good plugin! ??
    Anyway, I’ve got a problem where I do not find the solution of my own:

    I manage my images in topic-related galleries. For posting travel reports, I’ve got to collect images together from different galleries – no problem using the [ nggtag gallery=xxx ] shortcode.
    My problem now is: How can I sort those images? If I understand right the plugin code compared with the results, images collected by nggtag are ordered by the picture-id pid. I’d rather prefer to order them by imagedate becauce of the chronicle character of a travel report. Best option would be to choose the order criteria case by case.

    Is there anybody who can help me?
