[Plugin:NextGen / WP Simple Paypal.. Cart] Odd display and Add to Cart broken

Successfully created single test product on a page and was able to check out through paypal.

I created a test gallery and want to test selling images with both plug-ins. the button shows up. Some weird code populates to the right of the “add to cart” button and clicking the button does nothing. Clicking the code to the right of the button brings up the image on a new screen.
On the post page I enter the code
[nggallery id=4 template=wp-estore]

Within the Descrition box in the Manage Gallery section of NextGEN I’ve entered the following:

chrysanthemum<br />
Price: $10.00<br />
[wp_cart:chrysanthemum:price:10:end]

Chrysanthemum changes with each pictures name

Any ideas on how to make the button populate the order into the cart?
