Hi, I’m testing WordPress 5.0.1 with NextGEN Gallery 3.1.1 and WPML Media 2.4.1, Multilingual CMS 4.1.2, String Translation 2.9.1 and Translation Management 2.7.1 in order to create a gallery that allows for the title, caption and description for the images in the gallery to be in multiple languages and be updated when switched via the WPML language switcher.

I can create a gallery with title and description in the default language. These string I can translate via String Translation and when I use this gallery in a page I can actually see the title change in the gallery when I switch languages. All good so far.

As soon as the gallery is used in a page and I try to manage the gallery to e.g. change the title, I am not able to “Save Changes”. Each time I get an “A variable mismatch has been detected.” error message. The only way to get rid of that is to start from scratch and reinstall WordPress and all the plugins again.

Am I doing something wrong? Please advise on next steps. If I cannot have a working multiple language gallery then the whole setup is not for me and I need to go look for alternatives.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
