NextGen Gallery breaks/conflicts with All-In-One-Event Calendar (Timely)

We’d like to take a closer look at the conflict with “All in One Event Calendar”. We may need to temporarily deactivate plugins and switch the theme while troubleshooting. Great experience with Imagely Support, we are able to fix this issue.

Just add the below line of code in wp-config.php
`define(‘NGG_DISABLE_RESOURCE_MANAGER’, TRUE);

It would have been better if NextGen would naturally work with All-In-One-Calendar without these hacks, but we are all good for now.

Wow, Imagely, I’m impressed, as another user of NGG.

– There was a conflict with a smaller, less popular, niche-y plugin for a non-core function but the user blames you for “breaking” the other plugin despite them having 4 years of WP experience so should know better;
– The person asked you for help rather than going to the smaller plugin, as the normal protocol would be;
– You did help, and tailored your help all the way to testing their site to find a solution; and,
– They say “great” and that your service was deserving of a “high rating”.

Aaaaaand then they slap you on the way out with a “it would have better for NGG to blah blah blah”. Really?

And people sometimes wonder why tech support has such a high burnout rate…even when you get “great” there’s always a “but” attached.
