• Hi, i noticed yesterday that my Nextgen Gallery does affect the permalinks in mijn WordPress installation. There are two things happening. Usually, when I change the permalink of one of my blogposts, WordPress automatically redirects the old one to the new one. Since a short while this gives me a page error with Nextgen activated. When I deactivate the plug-in, the redirecting starts working again fine.

    Besides that, I post WP.me shortlinks to my Twitter account. When Nextgen is activated, they point to the non-permalink URL’s of my blogposts, like website.com/?p=15345. When I deactivate the gallery, it neatly points to the permalink URL again. So something is wrong…

    Thanks so much for the fix. But after we installed an older version of “module.wordpress_routing.php” to replace the one from NextGEN version 2.0.66.27, gallery photos were displaying in one long column, rather than in a grid. That was rectified when NextGEN Gallery Optimizer was deactivated.

    @davidebo – From our developers:

    “…add the following to their php.ini: cgi.fix_pathinfo = 1

    Please let us know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

    I ran into this issue as well. Took me a while to figure out why my BuddyDrive pages (plugin for BuddyPress) where not showing up anymore although the links were correct.

    I just tried to downgrade the aforementionend routing file, all I got was a PHP error (used NextGEN version 2.1.0).

    Fatal error: Access to undeclared static property: M_WordPress_Routing::$_use_canonical_redirect in […]\xampp\htdocs\wp-content\plugins\nextgen-gallery\products\photocrati_nextgen\modules\third_party_compat\module.third_party_compat.php on line 197

    Until this problem is unresolved, I cannot use this plugin.
