All of my galleries on https://palde.org/photos-videos/ are no longer visible. It looks like this error occurred after updating to NextGEN Gallery 3.2.2 from 3.1.17 on 5/27/2019.

I noticed this error on the plugin page: The plugin nextgen-gallery/nggallery.php has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist.

I tried to reinstall the plugin through the WordPress interface, but installation fails. I receive this message: Installation failed: Destination folder already exists.

    Thanks.

Using FileManager, the nextgen-gallery directory still exists on the folder, but the plugin does not display in the Plugins area of WordPress, so I cannot delete, deactivate, or activate it. I tried to overwrite the directory with the most nextgen-gallery folder (downloaded this morning), but I receive the error:

Unable to connect to backend. HTTP error 400

I just resolved this by deleting the original nextgen-gallery folder and reinstalling it. I was hesitant because I didn’t want to lose the existing galleries.

All is fine and the old galleries are intact.
