NextGen Gallery doesn't support .Gif images?

    @elshobokshy – Animated GIF images do work but you also have to take into consideration that when we create thumbnails of uploaded images they are saved as JPG which is not an “animated” format.

    The animated GIF images will work just fine where they are not (dynamically) manipulated to work with the selected display.
