Hi, I’m using WP 4.0 with NextGen Gallery 2.0.66.29 with the Fancybox Effects selected as Highslide. This works great except for the “Expand to actual size” button in the navigation menu at the top of the image. When this is clicked it expands the image however there is no option to reduce the image and return to the slideshow – if you click on the image it closes the slideshow and you have to start over. Any way to fix this?

Also, which file would I make changes to in order to position the navigation menu at the bottom of the image?

Any help/advice is always greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Also, I just noticed that when a thumbnail is clicked in a gallery of 8 images, the highslide slideshow opens and will only show for example 6 of the 8 images (1 of 6, 2 of 6, etc). How can I also fix this?

Disregard the link as I’ve had to switch to Shutter 2 Lightbox Effect for now to get things
“working”. Still would like some help with Highslide Lightbox Effect as this is the preferred option. Thanks,

@yieldpoint – As previously noted, both of these account are essentially one and the same … please try to be consistent in the account used for each topic you create.

As to issues specifically with Highslide, we basically bundle standard Lightbox libraries with NextGEN Gallery as a convenience. If there is something specifically wrong with the library you may need to review it with its author.

Yes, sorry about that again Cais. I will pay attention to which account I am using when posting.

So, are you saying that I need to contact the author for the Lightbox plugin in order to get help with Highslide effect?

@yieldpoint – essentially the default behavior of the lightbox cannot be changed, at least not within the scope of NextGEN Gallery. It may be possible to adjust the behavior if you contact the author of the lightbox and see if they have any adjustments that can be made in order to change the default behavior of the closing action.
