NextGEN Gallery: Image list works, slideshow doesnt?

  • I’m just getting started with wordpress and want to make use of NextGEN Gallery to show a picture slideshow on a website.
    I’ve installed the NextGEN Gallery plugin, created an album, uploaded some images and inserted it on the page.
    When I set the type to Image List, the thumbnails show on my page and work fine. Likewise, if I select Image Browser, it works fine. However, if I do a slideshow, nothing shows on the page and nothing is rendered.

    For example, using the following code:

    [slideshow id=1]

[slideshow id=1 w=900 h=450]

[nggallery id=1]

[imagebrowser id=1]

    Only the bottom two will show on the page?!
    I’ve tried this in Opera, IE and Firefox and the same problem is in each.

    Do I have to do any special setup for a slideshow?
