NextGEN Gallery issue [URGENT]

  • Hi guys

    I finished a website for a client and handed it over to them. Then last night I got a n email from them, theres an issue with uploading images to the site.

    The plugin im using is NextGEN Gallery. It uploads an image fine (goes to 100%) but then when it tries to create a thumbnail it gives an error message. When you go to the gallery on the website a picture of a broken image in in the thumbnail place. When you click on it it still enlarges and you can see the image so the problem is just with the thumbnail.

    Does anybody know how to fix this ?
    Its really urgent.

    Many times I have a similar problem.

    Can’t explain why it happens, what I usually do is open the picture in ACDSee, Lview Pro, or Photoshop and just re-save the picture.

    Probably has something to do with the format.

    The odd thing is no one program is the ultimate answer when re-saving.

    I just save re-upload and hope the image appears. Some times I have to repeat several times until the image appears.

    Hopefully someone has a reason and better solution than me, but I can say eventually the image will work.
