NextGen Gallery- Moving Images from 1 Gallery to Another

  • Is there an easy way to move an image in one gallery to another gallery? If there is one, I’m just blind to it right now.

    If not, is the best way just to delete and re-upload?

  • I too would really like to know if this is possible or if someone has modified code to be able to move image to another or new gallery.

    As far as I know, there is no “move” function built in the plugin.

    There is though a quite simple solution:

    1. Login to your FTP\file server.
    2. Go into the galleries folder.
    3. Move the image files to and from whichever galleries you want (cut and paste, or using the FTP servers move function- depends on the service you use).
    4. Go back to WP-admin, and use the “scan folder for new images” function in gallery managment.

    Should work and quite easy- hope it helps.
