NextGEN Gallery not Recognizing Custom User Role

I have created a custom user role of “Manager” using User Role Editor (https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/user-role-editor/).
When I go into Gallery >> Roles and set all settings to “Manager,” my user does not have access to NextGEN Gallery.
As well, if I set all roles to “Administrator,” the Admin can only access “Roles” and “Reset/Uninstall.”
It is ONLY when I set all roles to “Author” that the Admin can access Overview, Add Gallery/Images, Manage Gallery, Album, Tags, Options, Style and About.
